2025 광주비엔날레 Our lab attended the 2025 Gwangju Design Biennale, “The World of You: How Design Embraces Humanity.” The exhibition explored how the worlds of “I” and “You” expand and connect through design, highlighting the themes of inclusivity and coexistence.
Pavilion 1 introduced the concept of inclusive design and global case studies shaped by diverse cultural and historical contexts.
Pavilion 2 examined the meaning of inclusive design in everyday life and presented domestic and international examples illustrating the different worlds people experience. It emphasized inclusive design not as simple consideration, but as a powerful tool that enables all individuals to live autonomously, expanding the perspective from “user” to “partner” in design.
Pavilion 3 interpreted mobility as an area connected to human dignity and possibility, exploring future directions for inclusive mobility.
Pavilion 4 addressed how humanity and inclusivity can be upheld amid technological advancement, highlighting technological design that aims to create a better and more inclusive future.
2025 광주디자인비엔날레 「너라는 세계: 디자인이 어떻게 인간을 끌어안는가」 전시를 관람하였습니다. 전시는 ‘나’와 ‘너’의 세계가 디자인을 통해 확장·연결되는 방식을 탐구하며 포용성과 공존의 의미를 조명합니다. 1관에서는 각국의 문화·역사적 배경 속에서 발전한 포용디자인의 개념과 글로벌 사례를 소개하였고,
2관에서는 포용디자인이 우리의 일상과 삶에 어떤 의미를 가지는지, 그리고 서로 다른 사람들이 겪는 다양한 세계를 국내외 사례를 통해 경험하도록 구성되어 있었습니다. 포용디자인을 단순한 배려가 아닌, 모든 사람이 주체적으로 삶을 영위하도록 돕는 도구로 바라보며, 사용자 관점을 넘어 동반자로서의 디자인을 제시한 점이 인상적이었습니다.
3관에서는 이동을 인간의 존엄성과 가능성의 영역으로 해석하며 포용적 모빌리티의 미래 방향을 탐구하였고,
4관에서는 기술 발전 속에서 인간성과 포용성을 어떻게 지켜낼 것인지 고민하며 더 나은 미래를 위한 기술 디자인을 조명하였습니다. |
