ENHR is an international conference that addresses key housing challenges in European cities, including housing affordability, social equity, and environmental sustainability. In 2025, the conference was held from June 30 to July 4 in the Greater Paris area under the theme “Affordable Housing in Greening Cities.” The workshops explored the socio-economic and urban impacts of green urban strategies, such as energy-efficient retrofits and sustainable housing development, with particular attention to issues of green gentrification and inequalities emerging in the process of decarbonization. In addition, the field trips offered the opportunity to visit nearby green buildings and social housing renovation sites, allowing participants to experience first-hand the evolving landscape of sustainable architecture and housing across different historical periods.
