South Korea. She received her bachelor’s degree in Housing and Interior Design, master’s degree in Architectural Engineering, and Ph.D. in Interior Architecture from Yonsei University of South Korea. Soyeon also holds a master’s degree in Interior Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in the United States. Before joining Yonsei University, she worked in the Department of Housing and Interior Design at Chung-Ang University. Before joining Yonsei University, she was an associate professor in the Department of Housing and Interior Design at Chung-Ang University. She gained practical experience as a designer and engineer while working at Hyundai E & C, and she is currently a registered architect. Her research interests focus on applying a creative, interdisciplinary approach to environmental design studies.
이소연 교수는 대한민국 서울에 위치한 연세대학교 실내건축 및 건설환경학과 부교수입니다. 연세대학교에서 주거 및 실내 디자인 학사, 건축공학 석사, 실내 건축 박사 학위를 취득하였습니다. 또한, 미국의 로드 아일랜드 디자인 스쿨 (RISD)에서 실내 건축 석사 학위를 받았습니다.
연세대학교에 합류하기 전에, 이교수는 중앙대학교 주거 및 실내 디자인 학과에서 부교수로 재직한 바 있습니다. 현대건설에서 디자이너 및 엔지니어로 근무하며 실무 경험을 쌓았으며, 현재는 등록된 건축사로 활동 중입니다. 그녀의 연구 관심 분야는 창의적이고 학제적인 접근 방식을 환경 디자인 연구에 적용하는 데 중점을 두고 있습니다.
